Adriana Carreno has joined the Cenfluence initiative as its Life Sciences Cluster Manager, according to a March 25 announcement.
The appointment is significant for Central Florida’s life sciences sector, as the cluster manager role is designed to accelerate growth for companies specializing in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics, and digital health technologies. The position supports startups by identifying funding opportunities, facilitating industry partnerships, and providing tailored business development support.
Carreno brings experience in program building and ecosystem operations focused on turning emerging technologies into functioning markets. She most recently led the buildout of Plug and Play’s Semiconductor Program at NeoCity, working with startups, corporations, investors, and public partners to advance commercialization efforts in defense, advanced manufacturing, and deep technology. Her background also includes strategic communications and regional growth initiatives during her time at the Orlando Economic Partnership.
Carreno holds a Bachelor’s degree in sports medicine and fitness technology from Keiser University. Her early career involved work in rehabilitation and performance-focused environments. This experience shaped her perspective on accessibility and innovation within human performance sectors.
