The Alliance for Retired Americans announced on Apr. 2 that it will host its National Membership Meeting and conference from April 27 to 30, 2026, in Las Vegas. The event will be held at the Sahara Hotel and marks the organization’s 25th anniversary of activism.

The meeting is significant as it brings together retired union workers to strategize and mobilize ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. The Alliance says the gathering aims to protect pensions and rights of millions of retired union members.

During the four-day event, attendees will elect national officers, debate and vote on resolutions, and participate in workshops led by top labor leaders. The agenda also includes strategy discussions focused on national issues impacting retirees. The conference will conclude with a Senior Prom Ball and Dinner.

Registration for the event costs $150, while hotel accommodations are available at a rate of $69 per night. Interested participants must complete their registration and hotel reservations by Monday, April 6, 2026.

The Alliance’s National Membership Meeting is expected to provide a platform for advocacy as well as celebration among retired union workers.
