Amelia Island will host its annual Restaurant Week from January 16 to 25, featuring 24 locally owned restaurants and a variety of culinary events. The initiative, coordinated by the Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), aims to highlight the unique dishes and personalities that shape the island’s dining scene.

Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB, stated: “Every year, Restaurant Week gives us another chance to lift up the chefs, owners, and family-run establishments that are the heart of Amelia Island. These restaurants aren’t just places to eat; they’re cornerstones of our community’s identity. Supporting them strengthens Amelia Island as a whole, and we’re proud to champion the small businesses that drive our culinary reputation.”

This year’s event will focus on each restaurant’s signature or “claim to fame” dish. The lineup includes Mediterranean cuisine, coastal seafood classics, and chef-inspired meals that reflect the diversity of food culture on Amelia Island.

The CVB is working closely with participating establishments to encourage reservations and increase traffic during what is typically a slower period for local businesses. This collaboration highlights ongoing efforts to support small enterprises on the island.

In addition to daily offerings at participating restaurants—ranging from fine dining to Southern comfort food—the week will include two main events. The Opening Dinner, themed “New Traditions,” takes place at Nonna Mia at Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa on January 15 and features family-style Italian dishes with seasonal ingredients. The Closing Dinner, titled “A Taste of Every Table,” is scheduled for January 25 at Salt at The Ritz-Carlton, where four chefs de cuisine will present personal favorites in a tasting event.
