The Bay Area Renaissance Festival is set to return for its 48th year in Dade City, Florida, offering visitors a range of themed weekends and new attractions. The event, which runs from February 14 through March 29, 2026, continues to serve as a significant draw for Pasco County and the Tampa Bay region.

Each weekend will feature a different theme, beginning with “Wine, Chocolate & Romance” on February 14–15. Other highlights include “Highland Fling,” “Pups & Pints,” “High Seas Pirate Adventure,” “Shamrocks & Shenanigans,” “Viking Invasion,” and the season finale “Once Upon a Time.” These themes aim to appeal to various interests and age groups.

The festival will again transform its grounds into a recreation of a 16th-century European village. Visitors can expect live performances across 15 stages, over 100 artisan vendors, and interactive historical experiences. The event remains popular among families and tourists alike.

New features this year include an expanded Knights Ninja Challenge obstacle course designed for participants seeking physical activity and friendly competition. According to organizers, “Participants will dash, duck, and climb their way through a series of physical challenges built for both friendly competition and spectator excitement. Whether racing the course or cheering from the sidelines, festivalgoers can experience a fast-paced attraction that brings a new level of action to the grounds.”

Another addition is Buccaneer Bay, described as “a lively pirate-themed port,” offering music, crafts for children, themed entertainment throughout the day, and pirate-inspired activities. The Wicked Wand Workshop also returns with more space for guests to create custom wands: “Guests can once again design and decorate their own free custom wand using colorful paints, glittering accents, and whimsical charms. The beloved Wand Testing Ceremony returns, giving each creator a playful magical reveal.”

The festival supports local employment opportunities while promoting regional artisans. It also contributes tourism revenue to area hotels, restaurants, and small businesses.

Discounted tickets are available at participating Circle K locations; coupons can be found at Papa John’s outlets. More information is available on the official website (www.bayarearenfest.com) or by following @bayarearenfest on social media.
