The U.S. Census Bureau has announced new data-sharing agreements with Brigham Young University-Idaho and the University of North Carolina System as part of its Post-Secondary Employment Outcomes (PSEO) experimental data product. This initiative now includes data from 17 additional post-secondary institutions, expanding PSEO coverage to a total of 952 institutions and about 35% of all college graduates in the United States.

The PSEO program provides information on earnings and employment outcomes for graduates, broken down by degree level, major, institution, and state. The goal is to help parents, students, educational institutions, and workforce agencies better understand the labor market results for graduates.

These outcomes are made possible through collaborations between universities, university systems, state education departments, state labor market offices, and the Census Bureau. Users can access this data by linking graduate transcript records to Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics data using the PSEO Explorer tool, raw files, or the Census API.

More details about the program can be found at PSEO data.
