Census Bureau updates OnTheMap tool with latest employment statistics

The U.S. Census Bureau has updated its OnTheMap tool and the Longitudinal Employer-Household Dynamics (LEHD) Origin-Destination Employment Statistics (LODES) to include new employment data from 2023. The update also adds backfilled data for Mississippi covering the years 2019 through 2022, and incorporates updated geography based on the 2024 TIGER/Line vintage.

OnTheMap is an online mapping application that illustrates where people live and work, developed in partnership with Local Employment Dynamics partner states and the Census Bureau.
