Changing Homelessness and City Rescue Mission will hold their annual memorial service to honor individuals who have lost their lives while experiencing homelessness. The event aims to bring together family members, friends, concerned citizens, community leaders, faith representatives, and elected officials.

Speakers for the program include Dawn Gilman, Chief Executive Officer of Changing Homelessness; Paul Stasi, Executive Director of City Rescue Mission; and Richard Preston, President of New Life Jax Recovery Services.

Dawn Gilman emphasized the significance of the memorial: “The annual memorial is a moment to reflect, grieve, and to recommit ourselves to the work of creating a community where no one is left behind,” she said. “Every name we read represents a life of inherent value, and we are steadfast in our mission to provide hope, stability, and dignity to our neighbors experiencing homelessness.”

Attendees are encouraged to RSVP so organizers can make appropriate preparations for all guests.
