The Florida Board of Bar Examiners has released the results of the July 2025 General Bar Examination, following approval from the Supreme Court of Florida. The announcement was made by Chair Timothy Danninger of Jacksonville.

A total of 2,152 first-time applicants sat for the full Bar Examination on July 29-30, 2025, in Tampa. Of these, 1,687 passed, resulting in a passage rate of 78.4 percent for first-time test takers.

The General Bar Examination is composed of several sections: Part A and Part B, as well as the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination. Some candidates take only specific parts if they are repeating or have previously passed other portions. Additionally, applicants can transfer a valid Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) score from another jurisdiction and then only need to complete Part A of Florida’s exam. More detailed information about partial and repeat test takers is available at floridabarexam.org.

“The results of the July 2025 General Bar Examination are approved for release by the Supreme Court of Florida,” said Timothy Danninger.
