Florida Chamber’s Carolyn Johnson honored among top government relations leaders

Carolyn Johnson, vice president of governmental affairs at the Florida Chamber of Commerce, has been recognized by the News Service of Florida as part of its first Who’s Who in Government Relations Awards. The ceremony took place on December 9 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Tallahassee.

The awards highlight influential figures in government relations throughout Florida. Honorees are chosen for their effectiveness in communicating legislative priorities to elected officials and shaping policy. Recipients represent a range of organizations, including corporations and advocacy groups.

“It’s an honor to be included among so many talented professionals who share a passion for shaping Florida’s future,” said Carolyn Johnson, Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. “I’m proud to represent the Florida Chamber and the job creators we serve as we work to make Florida the best state to live, work, learn, and do business.”

Mark Wilson, President & CEO of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, commented on Johnson’s recognition: “Carolyn’s dedication to advancing Florida’s business agenda and her skill in building strong relationships and coalitions across the state’s political landscape make her a standout leader. Her work ethic and commitment to our mission ensure her influence and impact are felt by policymakers in every corner of state government.”
