FSCJ Artist Series announces diverse lineup for its upcoming performing arts season

The FSCJ Artist Series has announced its 2025/2026 season lineup, featuring a variety of performances ranging from Broadway musicals and concerts to circus acts and educational shows. The schedule includes both returning favorites and new productions, aiming to offer entertainment for audiences of all ages.

The season opens on November 30, 2025, with “Cirque Dreams Holidaze,” a holiday-themed show combining Broadway-style production with contemporary circus arts. The performance will feature original music, live renditions of classic holiday songs, new sets, and costumes.

On December 5, “Carolmania! A Very, Very Kool Christmas” invites families to participate in an interactive musical experience centered around holiday carols and games. The following day, Grammy-nominated soprano Sarah Brightman brings her “A Winter Symphony” Christmas concert to the stage with orchestral accompaniment.

Folk group The Kingston Trio is set to perform on January 13 as part of their national tour celebrating over six decades in music. Marshall Charloff & The Purple xPeRIeNCE will pay tribute to Prince on January 16. On January 17, Shanghai Circus will present acrobatic acts reflecting historic and modern Shanghai culture at the Nathan H. Wilson Center for the Arts.

Jazz singer Diana Krall is scheduled for a concert on January 18. Wildlife expert Grant Kemmerer’s “Wild World of Animals” show follows on January 21 with live animals representing various species.

From January 22-23, Blue Man Group brings its North American tour to Jacksonville with a blend of music and interactive art that has attracted more than fifty million fans worldwide.

Reza’s “Edge of Illusion,” known for large-scale magic tricks such as making helicopters appear on stage, is scheduled for January 25.

Opera returns February 1 with Teatro Lirico D’Europa’s production of Bizet’s “Carmen,” performed in French with English supertitles. On February 5, Riverdance celebrates its thirtieth anniversary by introducing new choreography and welcoming performers born after the show’s debut.

Tribute performances continue throughout February and March: Beginnings honors Chicago’s songbook (February 6), Stayin’ Alive pays homage to the Bee Gees (March 5), while Taylorville presents Taylor Swift hits (April 25).

Broadway productions featured this season include “Mrs. Doubtfire” (February 10-15), “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” (March 10-15), and “A Beautiful Noise – The Neil Diamond Musical” (April 14-19).

Other highlights include IL Divo performing by candlelight with Simply Three (February 26), Swan Lake Ballet by Classical Arts Entertainment (March 4), Doo Wop Project’s “Echoes of the Street” (March 6), “A Tribute To Pavarotti” concert (March 29), Puppy Pals Live dog stunt show (April 1), Steve Trash Science Live educational program (April 12) at the Wilson Center for the Arts at FSCJ South Campus.

The season offers a diverse range of programming aimed at engaging local audiences through music, dance, theater, science education, and family entertainment.
