On Giving Tuesday, an annual event dedicated to charitable giving, Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC) has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser. The organization is seeking support from the public to help provide service dogs to those in need.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has identified GDA | TLC as its preferred charity and is encouraging contributions on this global day of giving. The fundraiser aims to benefit military veterans with PTSD, individuals who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism by providing them with service dogs.

According to GDA | TLC, donations made during the campaign will have a direct impact on recipients by offering them increased confidence, companionship, and hope through trained service animals.

“Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides,” the organization stated.

Giving Tuesday follows major shopping events such as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It encourages people around the world to focus on charitable causes within their communities by supporting organizations like GDA | TLC.

For more information or to donate, supporters are encouraged to visit the Guide Dogs of America website.
