GreenPointe Holdings has started construction on the Lodge Amenity Center at Hyland Trail, a new community in Clay County near the First Coast Expressway. The groundbreaking event brought together representatives from GreenPointe Holdings, Basham & Lucas Design Group, Jax Utilities Management, and Smith McKee Construction.
Mike Taylor, President of Lifestyle Construction at GreenPointe Developers, described the vision for the project: “The Lodge Amenity Center will truly be the heart of Hyland Trail. Designed as a welcoming, family-friendly destination, it will be a place where neighbors come to relax, connect and enjoy life together.”
The planned facility includes gathering spaces overlooking a beach-entry pool and splash zone. Residents will have access to an exercise facility and pickleball courts. The community is also set to offer multi-use pathways for walking, biking, or jogging. There will be an expansive playground for children and a resident-only dog park named Barks & Rec. Completion of the amenity center is expected in 2026.
Hyland Trail features homes starting in the $300s from builders such as Dream Finders and Pulte. Home sizes range from about 1,500 square feet to over 3,500 square feet with options for one- and two-story single-family residences suitable for various age groups. Edenbrooke at Hyland Trail by Lennar introduces an active-adult neighborhood with homes designed for those aged 55 and older that emphasize low maintenance and open-concept living.
Model homes from Dream Finders, Pulte, and Lennar are open daily.
Located near schools in the Clay County School District as well as shops and restaurants, Hyland Trail is adjacent to Ronnie Van Zant Park—a public space offering amenities such as sports fields, nature trails, fishing ponds with piers, disc golf course, pickleball courts and more. The community provides easy access via the First Coast Expressway to Oakleaf Town Center as well as employment centers like Naval Air Station Jacksonville and Cecil Commerce Center.
