IAM District 142 recently held its second annual charity golf tournament at Papago Golf Course in Phoenix, raising funds for Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines. The event, organized as a competitive fundraiser among IAM districts, gathered participants and supporters to contribute through games and donated prizes.

The proceeds from the tournament will help fund the training and placement of service dogs. These dogs assist visually impaired individuals, veterans living with PTSD, and autistic children. All services are provided at no cost to recipients.

Staff from Guide Dogs of America attended the event with puppies in training. They highlighted the importance of the fundraiser in supporting their mission. More information about Guide Dogs of America and Tender Loving Canines can be found at https://www.guidedogsofamerica.org.
