The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is extending the registration deadline for its Retirees Education and Strategy Program (RESP), scheduled to take place from September 21-26, 2025. The program will be held at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland.

According to the IAM Retirees and Membership Assistance Department, registrations must now be received by Monday, August 18, 2025.

The RESP aims to provide retired and nearly retired members with information on issues that affect them. The curriculum covers topics such as organizing and maintaining retirees clubs, legislative and political strategies, Social Security and Medicare programs, creating action plans for retiree clubs, activities with the Alliance for Retired Americans, and recruiting volunteers among retired members.

For more details or questions about the program, participants are encouraged to contact the Retirees and Membership Assistance Department at 301-967-4717.
