IAM members participated in a march in Washington, D.C., alongside hundreds of labor activists. The event aimed to highlight the challenges faced by young American workers, including issues such as being overworked, underpaid, and dealing with what organizers described as an unfair economic system.

The demonstration brought together various groups to raise awareness about workplace conditions affecting younger employees. Organizers stated that the current economic environment makes it difficult for many young people to achieve financial stability.

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) was among the unions represented at the march. IAM members joined other participants in calling for changes to improve pay and working conditions for younger generations.
