IAM retirees recently gathered at the IAM Retirees Conference to discuss their experiences and offer advice to current members. The event highlighted the ongoing commitment of retirees who have spent their careers advocating for fair treatment, dignity, and strong labor contracts.

During the conference, retirees reflected on the lessons they learned during their active years with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). They emphasized the importance of involvement and engagement within the union.

Their message to current members was direct: “get involved, stay engaged, and keep organizing.”

The conference underscored that many IAM retirees remain committed to supporting union efforts even after retirement. Their collective experience serves as a resource for newer members seeking guidance in union activities.
