IAM Union highlights employee assistance programs for members during holidays

The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union) has announced the availability of two separate Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) for its members during the holiday season. The union emphasized that these programs provide confidential support at any time, day or night.

IAM Union leadership stated, “As we move through the holiday season, we wish every member and their families a happy holidays. We support you, your family, and your loved ones through what can be a challenging time.”

Members are reminded that in addition to union resources, national support is available. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline can be reached by dialing 988. Individuals can also text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org for assistance via text. In emergencies, calling 911 is recommended.

About 300 IAM union members gathered in Savannah, Georgia for the annual MNPL Conference focused on labor politics. Delegates also participated in a downtown rally criticizing presidential labor policies.
