The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM Union) joined forces with the Alliance for Retired Americans at the organization’s annual pension symposium. The event, led by retired IAM General Secretary-Treasurer Robert Roach, Jr., focused on threats to Social Security and retirement plans that support older Americans, including many members of the IAM Union.
Participants highlighted concerns about political efforts that could undermine these benefits. The symposium aimed to raise awareness and encourage action to protect retirement security for current and future retirees.
