Ivy Geilker has been appointed as a Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, according to an announcement from IAM Union International President Brian Bryant. The appointment took effect on September 1, 2025, and Geilker will work under IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.
Geilker began her tenure with IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer and has played a significant role in several organizing campaigns. These efforts have resulted in new members joining The Pharmacy Guild/IAM, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at large companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy.
Before her time at IAM Healthcare, Geilker was Senior Lead Organizer with the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she managed a team of field staff representing workers in various settings like state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.
“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
