The Jacksonville Symphony announced on March 5 that its recent Symphony Gala raised a record-breaking $1.14 million to support music education and community impact programs.

The funds will help the Symphony continue its outreach, which includes performances and educational initiatives that reach tens of thousands of students and families each year. The event highlights the organization’s ongoing role as a cultural cornerstone in Northeast Florida.

Ryan Schwartz and Sally and Ross Singletary served as co-chairs of the Symphony Gala Committee. “We are proud to support the Symphony and celebrate this cultural jewel of our city,” said Sally and Ross Singletary. Schwartz said, “The Symphony’s mission is more important now than ever, and I’m honored to be part of such a meaningful and successful event.” Title sponsor Arcus Capital Partners, along with all gala attendees, also contributed to the evening’s achievements.

The Jacksonville Symphony is Northeast Florida’s leading nonprofit performing arts organization, offering performances at Jacoby Symphony Hall in the Jacksonville Center for the Performing Arts as well as other venues throughout the area. Led by President and CEO Steven Libman and Music Director Courtney Lewis, the organization reaches over 155,500 individuals through more than 95 performances each season. The Symphony also provides music instruction for youth through its educational programs and operates the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestras.

Looking ahead, supporters say that continued fundraising efforts like the annual gala are vital for sustaining both performance excellence and broad access to music education across Northeast Florida.
