Children under the age of five who live in Florida will have access to free admission at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex throughout 2026. The new Junior Space Explorer Pass is available only to Florida residents and remains valid until December 31, 2026.

To receive the pass, parents or guardians must pre-register their children on the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex website by February 27, 2026. Registration is not available at the entrance. Upon arrival, proof of the child’s age—such as a certified birth certificate or travel passport—is required. School IDs or children’s security IDs are not accepted for this purpose. Additionally, parents or guardians must show photo identification that confirms their Florida residential address.

The complimentary pass covers general admission but does not include certain blackout dates, such as launch viewings and special events.

“Kids five and under can enjoy complimentary admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 2026 with the Junior Space Explorer Pass. Available only to Florida residents, the pass is valid through December 31, 2026,” according to an announcement from Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

For more information about registration requirements and restrictions, families are encouraged to visit the official website or contact Russell Bruhn at RBruhn@delawarenorth.com.
