Dozens of workers from Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico, along with their supporters, recently held demonstrations at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and at the company’s facility in Aguadilla. The purpose of these rallies was to call on the company to stop what they described as union-busting activities and efforts to divide the workforce.

During the events, participants voiced their concerns about the company’s treatment of employees and called for greater respect for the professionals responsible for aircraft safety. Protesters emphasized the importance of unity among workers and urged Lufthansa Technik to recognize and support their rights.

“Stop the union-busting tactics, end the efforts to divide workers, and respect the professionals who keep aircraft flying safely every day,” stated the group during the demonstration.

The rallies reflect ongoing tensions between employees and management at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico regarding labor practices and union representation.
