District 77 members in Minnesota have participated in Unity One Credit Union’s annual Toys for Tots drive, providing support to families during the holiday season. Locals 737 and 459 approved funding that covered a large portion of this year’s contributions. This allowed for over $1,600 worth of toys to be donated to local families.

Members were actively involved by shopping for toys and delivering them. Their efforts resulted in a truckload of toys being distributed within the community.

“IAM District 77 and its locals came together to make a difference for families during the holidays,” said IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. “Their effort speaks volumes about who we are as a union. I’m proud of the work our members continue to do in their communities.”

“Supporting Toys for Tots reflects the spirit of solidarity our members show all year,” said IAM Local 737 President Eric Jorgensen. “Locals 737 and 459 didn’t just contribute funds, they put in the time, energy, and heart to make sure kids in our community feel the joy of the season. I’m proud of the generosity our members continue to demonstrate.”

District 77 has emphasized that giving back is an ongoing tradition, aiming to bring joy to local families during holidays.
