Minnesota IAM union members gather to discuss workers’ issues at state council meeting

IAM Union members from across Minnesota gathered at IAM District 77 for the Minnesota State Council, a three-day meeting focused on issues important to working families, according to a March 24 announcement.

The event brought together union members to discuss priorities and challenges facing workers throughout the state. The gathering provided an opportunity for participants to share their experiences and collaborate on strategies that support labor rights and workplace improvements.

The meeting began with remarks from IAM International President Bryan Bryant, followed by comments from IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. Their speeches set the tone for meaningful discussions over the course of the event.

Throughout the three days, attendees addressed topics relevant to union members statewide. The council served as a platform for exchanging ideas and developing plans aimed at advocating for workers’ interests in Minnesota.

The event concluded with a call for continued unity among union members as they work together on behalf of working families.
