Several new restaurants are also being established, bringing more coastal cuisine options to residents and visitors.

Bruce Beach, a historic site significant to the African American community near downtown Pensacola, has undergone revitalization. The first phase opened in 2022, with the second phase completed on November 8, 2024. This project aims to reclaim the area as a public recreation space.

A new multi-use path on Perdido Key was completed in 2024. The trail is designed to improve bicycle and pedestrian access throughout Perdido Key by linking recreational spots, beach access points, and neighborhoods.
