St. Andrews State Park and Wakulla Springs announce lineup of holiday events

St. Andrews State Park in Panama City and Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park in Wakulla Springs have released their holiday event schedules for the upcoming season. Both parks are managed by Adventures Unbound by Guest Services, a company that provides outdoor activities across the country.

At St. Andrews State Park, the annual Golf Cart Parade is scheduled for December 13. Visitors can participate by decorating their own golf carts or using one provided at the park. The parade will begin at noon, with participants meeting at the camp at 11 a.m. In addition, from December 20 to 28, the park will offer a Christmas Shell Island Sunset Cruise featuring carols, hot cocoa, and cookies.

The park has been recognized as number seven on Dr. Beach’s Top 10 Beaches for 2025 and is known for its sunset cruises, Shell Island Ferry service, paddle board rentals, and pontoon rentals. From November 27 through December 3, there will be a 25 percent discount on Glamping Tent rentals; guests who use this discount will also receive a complimentary one-day golf cart or bike rental for two people. The Lodge at Wakulla Springs will host several events starting with a Thanksgiving Buffet on November 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., priced at $55.99 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $21.99 plus tax and gratuity for children aged 12 and under. On November 29, the Wakulla Springs Makers Market will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring local artisans and crafts in the Terrace and Back Lawn areas.

Special December events include Brunch With Santa on December 7 and December 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., which includes food, holiday activities, and visits from Santa Claus with goodie bags for children. Prices are $40 for adults (ages 13+), $26 for children ages four to twelve, and $11 for children ages two to three.

A Christmas Buffet is planned at The Lodge on December 25 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., costing $54.95 plus tax and gratuity for adults and $19.99 plus tax and gratuity for children aged thirteen and under. New Year’s Eve dinner will also be available in the dining room until 10 p.m., with more information forthcoming.

Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park is known as one of the world’s largest freshwater springs surrounded by ancient cypress swamps, offering boat tours, birding opportunities, hiking trails, biking paths, horseback riding options, and wedding venues at The Lodge built in the Spanish style of the 1930s that features wildlife themes reflecting Old Florida history.
