Universal Orlando Resort has announced the return of its annual holiday celebration, set to take place from November 21, 2025, through January 4, 2026. The event will feature a variety of themed experiences across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and for the first time, select areas at Universal Epic Universe.

Among the highlights is “Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” where visitors can see festive decorations in Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley, and the new Ministry of Magic area at Epic Universe. Special performances will include The Frog Choir in Hogsmeade and Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees in Diagon Alley. A nighttime show called “The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle” will use projection and special effects on Hogwarts castle.

Seuss Landing at Islands of Adventure will host Grinchmas activities. Guests can watch “The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular,” meet The Grinch during daily appearances at Honk Honkers, and visit a new Who-ville Tree Lot featuring Dr. Seuss-themed trees.

Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will return to Universal Studios Florida with large balloons and floats inspired by popular characters such as the Minions from Despicable Me, Shrek, Madagascar, and more. Santa Claus will lead the lighting of an 80-foot Christmas tree.

Universal Epic Universe’s Celestial Park will also be decorated with seasonal lights and ornaments inspired by astronomical themes.

Add-on experiences are available for guests seeking exclusive access. The Universal Holiday Tour offers guided tours with reserved viewing areas for shows and parades, cookie decorating sessions, meet-and-greet opportunities with The Grinch and Santa Claus, as well as priority access to certain attractions. Tickets start at $79.99 per person plus tax; Annual and Seasonal Passholders receive a $10 discount per ticket.

Another option is The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous in Islands of Adventure. This breakfast features themed menu items such as Green Eggs & Ham Quiche and Betty Lou Who Fluffy Ricotta Pancakes. Prices are $58.99 plus tax for adults and $32.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9.

At Universal CityWalk, the Red Coconut Club transforms into the Green and Red Coconut Club with live entertainment under this year’s “Mistletoe Pines Ski Lodge” theme. Earl the Squirrel will make appearances during select dates in CityWalk Plaza. Restaurants like Bigfire and VIVO Italian Kitchen will offer seasonal food options.

All eleven Universal Orlando Resort hotels will participate with holiday decorations, special menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s buffets, tree lightings, Hanukkah menorah ceremonies, carolers, and other festivities.

New Year’s Eve celebrations are planned across all parks as well as CityWalk and resort hotels; further details are expected later.

Access to most holiday events is included with regular theme park admission. Florida residents can save up to 40% off flexible rates at participating hotels along with benefits such as early park admission (with valid ticket) and resort-wide charging privileges.
